What engines are there to choose from?
Standard on all versions of the RAM 1500 is a 3.6-liter V6 with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Optional on all but the HFE is a 5.7-liter V8 with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Both engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a 3.21 axle ratio. Available is four-wheel-drive and lower axle ratios of 3.55 and 3.92 on all models. Both engines also come with the eTorque mild-hybrid system, which helps improve the RAM’s fuel economy. With the V8 the RAM 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds with a payload capacity of 2,300 pounds.

The full-size 2019 RAM is available in a handful of body styles and bed lengths. Most RAM 1500s come standard as a Quad Cab with the ability to seat up to six passengers.
